I have worked with Harding Harding & Associates for 30 years, since the early 1990s. I was first introduced to Jack and Ryan Harding through educational workshops that they did for financial advisors such as myself. They provided vital education on long-term care insurance so that we could have meaningful conversations about our client’s needs.

As a Certified Financial Planner, CFP, who specializes in retirement income planning and wealth management, I find it extremely important to find trusted professionals in allied services who work outside of my areas of specialty. I joined my father’s insurance & annuity agency in 1987. Before my office chair got warm, he asked me to educate myself on the risk and expense for Long Term Care, along with understanding Medicare and Medicare Supplements.

In 1988, within months of joining forces with my dad, I met Jack Sr., and his boys, Jack, and Ryan. I soon learned that Charlotte, Jack Sr.’s spouse and Ryan’s wife Beth were integral parts to the success of Harding & Harding. Fast forward, Jack Sr., Charlotte, and Jack Jr. have passedaway, and all are truly missed. But today, Ryan maintains the highest quality service and expertise to both those families in need of LTCI, and those advisors recommending LTCI to their clients.

Ryan continues his father’s legacy by introducing this important work to other family members, by offering a career to both his nephew, Steven, and his son Kory. Like me, both Steven and Kory have been trained by the best. As with most decisions, the importance of experience and knowledge is needed in our line of work. But how those attributes are presented to an interested party is also important. Ryan and his team will spend hours with a client or an advisor, if needed, to be sure a well informed decision is the result.

Like Ryan, with Harding and Harding, my business continuation plan evolves family. My daughter Madison joined my practice in January of 2020. I too wish to see Nye Financial Group & Nye Wealth Management continue for a third generation, to help those in, or near retirement address all the risks they’re going to face. Including, the financial risk for the self-insured from an extended stay of Home Health Care, Assisted Living, or in a Nursing Home.  I’ve known the Harding family for over 35 years. I consider Ryan, Beth, Steven , and Kory not solely as the best of the best as expert consultants in the areas of LTC and Medicare Supplements, but as family.

At its core , I’m in the business of giving actionable advice to those that have entrusted me with the success of their retirement.
